Deidre Paknad
President & CEO

Deidre leads the company and drives its solution vision; she is widely credited with having conceived of and launched the first commercial applications for legal holds, collections and retention management in 2004 and is a well respected thought leader in the legal and information governance domain. Deidre founded the CGOC, a professional community on retention and preservation that analyst firm IDC labeled a "think tank". She has been a member of several Sedona working groups since 2005 and leads the EDRM IMRM working group 6. She shares her insight on information governance and the process maturity model in her blog, IMHO by Deidre Paknad.

Deidre is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with 20 years' experience applying technology to poor-functioning business processes to reduce cost and risk. Prior to PSS, she helped Certus launch its Sarbanes Oxley software solution. Deidre previously founded and was CEO of CoVia Technologies from 1996 to 2000, where she was inducted into the Smithsonian Institution for innovation in 1999 and again in 2000. She held operations and marketing management posts at Altera Corporation, Consilium (acquired by Applied Materials) and Zinka over the course of her career. She has been profiled in several books and articles for entrepreneurship, most recently in Business Lessons from the Edge by Jim McCormick and Grade A Entrepreneurs by Marylene Delbourg Delphis. She graduated from the University of California.

Rani Hublou
Vice President, Marketing

Rani Hublou leads PSS Marketing strategy and operations. Closely aligned with PSS Sales, Engineering and the CEOs office, Rani focuses her team on accelerating PSS revenues in direct and indirect channels through strategic field enablement and demand generation initiatives.

Rani brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in enterprise software and application development to her role at PSS. Previously, as an independent consultant, Rani performed market strategy work for clients such as Oracle, VMware and SAP. Rani has held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing at BEA Systems. In that Role, Rani built new Product Strategy, Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing, and Worldwide Marketing Organizations that helped drive BEA from an application server company to an application infrastructure company. Prior to BEA, Rani was a very early member of BroadVision, Inc and post-IPO, she held the Chief Marketing Officer position. Rani was also co-founder and SVP of Marketing of Icarian, a Kleiner Perkins backed application software company. Rani has served on the Board of the Silicon Valley Children's Fund and Rebuild LA, and supported both organizations in a strategic planning capacity. She holds both a Bachelor and Masters in Engineering from Stanford University.

Jeff Johnson
Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Jeff Johnson leads the PSS Global Sales Organization and joins PSS with a distinguished track record in enterprise sales growth. Prior to joining PSS, Jeff was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at public-company Agile Software where he led global sales, services, and business development for many years prior to their acquisition by Oracle. Prior to Agile Software, Jeff led Global Sales at Blue Martini building the team and revenue from pre-revenue through its IPO. Jeff's career spans 20 years in enterprise software sales at leading enterprise software companies including leading regional sales organizations at industry giants and innovators such as MSA, SAP, PeopleSoft, and Red Pepper. Jeff served as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from Washington State University.

Pierre Raynaud-Richard
Vice President, Engineering

Pierre leads PSS Systems' engineering and product development efforts. He is a seasoned technology executive who has led engineering strategy and product delivery for numerous generations of product from operating systems to complex, 7x24 applications. He is a technically distinguished computer scientist as well as respected engineering leader. Prior to PSS, Pierre was Vice President of Engineering (end to end) at Openwave and led several engineering and product teams over his tenure there. Prior to Openwave, he was Vice President of Engineering R&D at PalmSource. He also held the VP of Engineering post at Be Incorporated, an innovative technology company where he worked from 1995 to 2001. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique de Paris with a B.S. and an M.S. from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications in France.

John Page
Vice President of Professional Services

John Page leads PSS's Client Services programs including Consulting, Training, and Support. John is a seasoned executive with 25 years of experience in enterprise software, systems integration, and consulting services. Prior to joining PSS Systems, John was SVP Professional Services for Ingenix, a $2B Healthcare software technology and services organization where he was responsible for consolidating many fragmented services teams into a single professional services organization. Before Ingenix, John served as EVP Global Services for Stellent, a leading Enterprise Content Management provider acquired by Oracle. Prior to Stellent, John led consulting and systems integration teams for NerveWire, Technology Solutions Company, KPMG Consulting, and Coopers & Lybrand. He started his career in engineering and sales for IBM and holds bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

Christopher ("Criss") Harms
Chief Financial Officer

Criss leads PSS's finance, accounting & human resource activities. Prior to joining PSS, Criss was CFO at Transitive Corporation, a provider of cross-platform virtualization solutions, which was acquired by IBM in 2008 and CFO at Counterpane Internet Security, a provider of network security solutions, which was acquired by British Telecom in 2006. Prior to that, he served as the director of finance and controller for several successful venture-funded technology companies, including Sentient Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems), Apptitude (acquired by Hi/fn) and Silvan Networks. He also founded Branders.com, a Web-based provider of promotional products, and served in corporate and divisional financial roles at Hewlett Packard. He earned his CPA while at Ernst & Young in San Francisco, and he holds an MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BS from UC Berkeley.
