PSS Systems Teams with MorganFranklin to Address Government and Financial Services Markets
Enhanced Document Policy Solution Reduces Costs While Mitigating Risk and Assuring Compliance

PALO ALTO, California, November 3, 2003 — PSS Systems, Inc., a pioneer in document policy management and compliance solutions, today announced that it has teamed with MorganFranklin Corporation, a system integration firm that serves public sector agencies, to develop joint solutions that meet the electronic information policy needs of government and financial services clients. The alliance will enable PSS Systems to deliver effective risk-management and compliance solutions to important public sector customers, and enable MorganFranklin to benefit from PSS Systems’ relationships with clients in broader commercial markets, such as financial services, healthcare, and life sciences.

PSS Systems today also announced the availability of its flagship PSS1™ document policy solution. The PSS1 system tracks and enforces policies that address document security and access control, authorized use, and document retention needs, ensuring that all copies of remote documents are disposed of at the end of their prescribed lifecycle. The PSS automated policy enforcement mechanism extends the reach of the policy from document repositories to the edge of the enterprise, and even to remote users and partner sites. This provides consistency across all users and documents while dramatically reducing costs over earlier manual record enforcement procedures.
